Exploiting Israel’s freedom of expression, Hamas highlighted the film’s interviews with 24 IDF soldiers and intelligence personnel, attempting to twist their accounts into “evidence” of war crimes
Seizing on the documentary’s title, a Hebrew military acronym for “collateral damage”, the organization demanded that international bodies “document the testimonies and information contained in the film and make use of them in investigation and accountability proceedings”
